Our Hospitality

Le Querce is neither a rural hotel nor holiday apartments but a nest of rural cottages on private land.

It was created in 1982, as a safe haven from the city and born out of a desire for contact with unspoilt natural surroundings. After years of cultivating aromatic plants, it was dedicated in 1986, as the first in Sardinia, to hosting guests who shared a love of the place. It became a place to recuperate , not only for those who love Sardinia for its international style but also for its tranquillity, intriguing natural scenery and its silent quality as a perfect retreat.

Here the hill keeps the air cool in summer and warm in mid seasons. The sea close by can be reached in a few minutes as is the coast with its evening attractions and entertainment. The essence of Le Querce is above all created from peace, uncontaminated natural surroundings, birdsong and a garden tended lovingly and with close attention to detail.

The health and fitness element of Le Querce is aided by our experience in the extraction of essences which makes relaxation easy with aromatic baths and treatments in expert hands.

Frequent visits to the centre of the island in search of local artisands have brought back materials and decorations and visits to Provence- the mother of all inspiration- have left their mark.

For all these rreeasons, Le Querce is sadly unable to accept children under 12 as guests.
